WHO NEEDS DRUGS...ME BRING EM ON!!
January 18th 2008 09:33
As per the post title, I do acually, at the moment need drugs, but should
probably be not hitting the vino...but I am liking the effect...(shhh)
I hate dentists!
Well not personally, just what they do to you, pain and pain and pain.
On the other hand, I guess someone has to do the dirty work, and it cant be pleasant sticking your hands in different peoples mouth's all day, especially not Dentistphobiacs like me...
During the initial examination, this new dentist, (actually a really kind man), had to ask me to open my mouth, I had clamped my jaw around his gloved hand like a vice.
During the explatory drilling before the decision was made to excavate, evacuate, take the tooth and run, he also commented I had a very strong tongue. (I have been known to give out a few lashings, but in a metaphorical way so I thought)..
I went in expecting a filling and left minus a tooth I have had in my head for almost 40 years.
The pain is one thing, the mourning of the loss of an old friend another....and the realisation that my body parts arent what they once were gives me pause....to reflect.
I will never be able to offer any organs for donation, most have all been thoroughly used...
In a good way...I hope so...
Love and life x
