UNSPOKEN WORDS

July 10th 2007 01:27
What happens to all the unspoken words?

If the unsaid words or phrases would be harmful to others if spoken, and you choose not to verbalise them..does retaining them create little scars on your soul?
Are unspoken words as potent as ones that are expressed?
By not articulating once your mind has constructed and formulated a perceivably negative opinion or response...those times when the words are.....on the tip of your tongue....but you hesitate and hold back.....are you influencing and intoxicating even poisoning your future thought processes?

If you have praise and loving words in your mind and you dont feel able to communicate, send them out into the ether... do they stay in your mind and mould and shape other expressions of feelings and experiences in a positive manner?

Why is it so often so difficult to say what you mean and mean what you say?

Where do all the unspoken words go.......?
deep into the parts of the mind that we dont access daily?........
out of sight out of mind........?
to the land between what is and what may have been?....

i recently said 'so much unsaid, so much' because i was feeling it.. which means the words or their essence are still there, right?

Hi Lily...
I guess what I think I believe is that once you think something it is "out there"....and in some cases it is as though it has been spoken...but not always...guess it depends on the circumstances? x

Hi Miss Nomer,

I think unspoken words have more of an affect on us than spoken words. They drive us more.

Perhaps it's the fear of the reaction will be if those words are spoken.

How much do people obsess about the first time they tell someone they love them; should they say it, when should they say it, will the other person say it back. But once it is said...

Love & stuff
