sorry to hear of your loss.
Losing friends like that is always a terrible shock, I know it all far too well myself.
But, if you believe that we exist, in some way, after death, then your friend will always be near.
If not, then, at least suffering is at an end.

P.S. If you become too sad, maybe do one meditation on your friend, without actual thoughts, just the face, if you can, it may produce surprising results, especially just after burial or cremation.

I actually dont believe it because she had recently moved away...up north so I wasnt around to futher complicate matters her body is being sent to New Zealand for the funeral so I am flying over there basically for travelling 1 day each way and spending the dayand night of the funeral over there, that way I will know its true and I really want to say goodbye and be with her family and good friends to celebrate her life. I like the idea of the meditation, I will try to remember to do that after the ceremony...... thanks for the kind thought x Miss N

thanks for the kind thoughts...I am hoping next year will be better this is the 4th year in a row someone close to me has died in Decmber leading up to Christmas...two grandparents, one ex, and now H....makes christmas not such a happy time to be looked forward to!....
