the sun doesn’t rise
dark clouds obscure
the horizon of my mind
............promising only
stormy weather
............no sign
of sunlight to warm my soul
and soothe my heavy heart

Buy the Hothouse Flowers version of 'I can see clearly now' ... It's such an uplifting song ... it winds up and up and up and up and up ... and if anyone doesn't feel better about things after listening to that song? ...
