Ive been looking for love
in all the wrong places
and wondering
what went wrong

Love cannot grow
in farrow soil
in a shadow
without the sun

Life is full of lessons
that cant be taught
if your heart
is a closed book

When I look back
I shake my head
at the words
I misunderstood

I was looking for reason
when reason
wasnt in season
for lessons in my life....

Don't think you're Robinson Crusoe ... We are all human ...

I love those two stanzas ... there's so much depth of thought in them ... I can spend hours on words so perfectly arranged like that ...

David I sometimes wish I spent hours before I expressed myself......it might be a lot better that way...but I just have a terrible habit of throwing words out and often they come flying back in my face.......

Wendi....Good to see your beautiful icon image as well, I havent been posting but I have been reading and voting and for you always x

You throw your words out unedited to people who genuinely love you?

They will rarely ever be thrown back in your face ...

The ones that are? ... You'll know why they are ... but it won't cause a major rift ...

We are human beings ... It's high time we all learnt to accept each other and forgive each other for being human ...

Dear Katy Z...what I guess I was trying to get at is..I am 44 and had a lot of great men in my life....that left..so I have to get to the stage in my life when I accept responsibility for my part in that....and deeply know that my heart has been a closed and dark place for a long time where no love could grow...you could do me an ms paint of that if you will? x
