IDENTIFYING WITH MY IDENTITY

Is an Identity Crisis a period of time existing in a state of not knowing who one is, or does not knowing who you really are instigate an identity crisis?
Who am I? Who is the real me…….and who are you?
How does someone know if they are their authentic selves, not a manufactured entity? Is the person I am a fabrication, moulded to conform to my perception of what is acceptable in order to fit neatly into the socially acceptable boundaries that exist in my reality?
How can one live the life they were meant to live if they don’t know who they are, what the reason for their existence is? How do you find out what you are supposed to achieve in this lifetime if you are still at the starting blocks waiting for the race to begin and you don’t know the rules of the race?
Are YOU the product of your thoughts and therefore the actions that follow your thoughts, or do YOU think your thoughts and act out accordingly?
Are you the same person this morning that you were when you went to bed last night and are you really you when you sleep and dream?
Do other people see who you really are or do they see the person that they want to see or the person that you want them to see?
If each of us are affected and develop according to our genetics, surroundings and upbringing, how different is each of us from the original YOU that we were when we were born.
If each of us carries within us the answers to our own particular questions, why do so many struggle so hard for so long seeking external solutions?
If we knew everything that there was to know about who we really were would there be no point in lingering any longer on this earthly plane, or would it then be our mission to assist others to understand their true nature?
If you don’t reach an enlightened state before your earthly body dies do you continue being you, and get on the merry go round again? If this happens where does this you, this essence of you, actually reside?
