BLIND LEADING THE BLIND

censor my thoughts
I think too much
still my mind
seems like a wish
and a command
not an invitation
to inner peace
and lasting calm
Bite the hand
that feeds you
go on.. ..its a dare
will you carry on
or be carried away
on a stretcher
to never never land
or wherever
they take those of us
who choose ....
to simply go astray
therefore we flock
and soon we run
but cannot hide
the land is barren
it doesnt rain anymore
the trees are gone
there's no refuge
in sight or mind
and so the blind
leads the blinded
towards the edge
simply because
it was there

As Lioness says, your poetic voice is indeed very powerful...and no, that doesn't make me ewe...I don't flock..just means I respect Lioness....
I can appreciate it from an objective point of view.

This poem, to me shows a great self awareness.
