A Virus

I've caught a cold these days... Have no idea from where... It's one of those sorish throats, headache, runny nose ones.... Quite a pain really... The cold is known as a virus to my understanding which makes me recall a very interesting quote from one of my favourite movies...
It's a line, or a few lines from "The Matrix", uttered by none other than the great actor, Hugo Weaving... I'll put it here for those who may not know it..
Agent Smith: I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure.
To me this is a fascinating passage because it's so agreeable... Humans are the bacteria of the earth... what could be a better analogy than that...
I'll give you another quote from the movie that I can totally agree with... one of those, "they read my mind and expressed it into words which I could not", type quotes...
Morpheus: I see it in your eyes. You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he is expecting to wake up. Ironically, that's not far from the truth. Do you believe in fate, Neo?
Neo: No.
Morpheus: Why not?
Neo: Because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life.
Neo: The Matrix.
This last part where Morpheus says, "What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world" made me get that shivery feeling when I heard it, haha...
I wonder how many other people feel that way or have felt that way.. I'm trying hard to change that these days, because I know that to achieve the certain goals I have for my life, that type of thinking will get me nowhere... But still I feel like if I was to wake up one day in a totally different place and someone or something was to tell me that, hey you've been in a dream, this is the real... I feel like that would make a whole lot of sense and I could easily accept that as reality.
In some ways, I wouldn't mind that happening... heh I wonder what a shrink would say about my "state of mind"...
Hmmm what if we were literally like bacteria and viruses... microscopic; compared to another realm or paradigm that existed... Like in the ending to "Men in Black" where our universe is just a marble that some alien is playing with...
So many possibilities and so many "truths" that I will never be able to know about...

No disrespect to this post but I would like to get ript with you sometime and elaborate on some of your beliefs....maybe re-live the Matrix.....its an incredible movie, one of my favs too!
